Turbometrics
Being the installer, it's possible I made a mistake. I was sober at the time. He's bringing the car in 9/22 for a re-install. I'll take pictures if it still doesn't fit. Cool...if it's the wrong downpipe (MT instead of AT), it won't clear the transmission.
Irrational Exuberance
I haven't seen any evidence that it didn't fit due to: A. It being the incorrect downpipe (all my documentation says it's for an AT, and I believe the box was clearly labeled as such) well as, you can see in this pic, it the label does not say AT. it does, however, say its supposed to have a 304stainless UP in it which it didnt contain:lol:, to bad. there are no other markings on the box. if you want pictures from all angles i can send them to you. http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/6879/dp5ph9.jpg heres a comparison of the stock DP versus the one i received. you can fairly easily see that they dont bend at the same angles. http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/3620/dp1gy5.jpg heres a shot of the brackets not lining up: http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/9382/dp2pe2.jpg ... and not lining up to the hanger on the car: http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/331/dp3mq8.jpg ... and that because of the fitment, the DP wont sit on the exhaust housing of the turbo propery: http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/6449/dp4hz7.jpg many other pictures available upon request. billable hours for a DP install is 1hr, this is the second time ive had it put on without it fitting. you can probably understand why im not to happy, since its nearly cost me $600 for a downpipe that i cant use. i await your responce.
