mmm def
I just ordered a set for my Si, hate the stock tires so these have to be better. I think they won the C&D comparo? $40 rebate too, so really $78 a tire. Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
krzyss
a month or two ago the price was the same and rebate was 100. Not bad deal but not unheard of ;-) Krzys
grapeowrath
I had these on my mazdaspeed protege (car before my LGT) and was very happy with them. They really do live up to the wet traction hype -- transformed my car in wet weather. The only thing that I wish I had done was payed attention to the load index rating and bought the higher (91 v 87 that I got). They felt a little squishy compared to the Potenza RE040s that came on the car. I just ran with slightly higher air pressure. Good deal -- I don't think you'll be disappointed. ilh
Of course the 91 XL ones are $47 more each compared to the 87 ones.
MilesA
The less expensive ones are Chinese made and the more expensive ones are German made, if that matters to you. This is according to one of the TR reps.
