possible homemade match to BSM (diy grill)

i used Dupli*Color gray primer and Dupli*Color metal specks...:lol:

 

for comparison i used the removable piece next to the pass. side foglight

Try gunmetal metalic it a better match for the grill. That what I used to repaint my grill. The top is fact. color and the inside is a repaint. You can get the paint from pep boys.

He's talking about matching the body paint...but yeah..that is a good match.

 

As for the OP, I think there is too much metal in the paint used for the grille. It might be close, but will definately be off when attached to the car; at least I believe so. Post up those pics of the grille on the car for us to see.:)

I had to do mine twice. Just use a sanding block and when you get it close to flush use a higher grit to smooth it out.
