subatwo Posted July 17, 2006 Share Posted July 17, 2006 has anyone else had problems w/ their rear seat squeaking/creaking? I had warranty work on the rear-passenger side done already to fix a squeaking noise everytime you push back against it. they told me there was some kind of spring loose. they fixed the problem awhile ago, but now, the rear-drivers side is encountering the same problem. subatwo Posted July 17, 2006 Author Share Posted July 17, 2006 I've no idea how they fixed it. all they told me is they had to replace the springs (which had to be ordered and took a looooooong time). Umbakrail Posted July 19, 2006 Share Posted July 19, 2006 I had same problem. Back seat was sqweeking on every bump. Dealer found the back seat was moving a little event with bolt fully tightened. subatwo Posted July 19, 2006 Author Share Posted July 19, 2006 just got car back from dealer. the warranty invoice said there were two hooks that latch onto the seats. all they did was "readjust" it, and now the squeak is gone. i'm a little weary about this "readjust" thing.
