KayGT
what is the average life in miles for springs before they should recieve replacements? if all are different then my question is for LGT stockers and STi pinks.
LowFast
Stockers replaced immediately because they make the thing sit like a 4x4!

HansGT
springs will long outlast your struts. don't worry about it.
HansGT
springs will long outlast your struts. don't worry about it. just don't buy crap...any spring sets under $200 i'd be suspect. I'd recommend Pinks or Ions. (I have Ions and am very pleased)
LowFast
I know, just being a smart ass. I do not know how long springs will last, probably 100K miles or more, but Han's is right, the struts will fail long before the springs. I think the only quality springs that are right at the $200 mark are the Tein H-Techs, at least I hope so because they are sitting in my garage waiting for my lazy butt to put them on. Of course I am still waiting on Koni to release their cut-a-struts so I dont bounce all over the place. I forgot what I was supposed to remember. Xenonk
spring sag and spring rate change will vary on the driving you do and such, it's hard to say.. Keefe
robinlsb
The springs could last longer than the motor "Belief does not make truth. Evidence makes truth. And belief does not make evidence."
wcbjr
ions = no bouncing = no strut replacement needed But they don't look near as good as the S-techs. All I do is highway and some city driving, so I don't care about the whole lack of suspension travel issue. I forgot what I was supposed to remember.
