Tide
The WRX in the US has great tuner support, but what about the Legacy. I think our best bet on good solid tuning would be from Cobb Tuning. Ive been out there and they are great guys... and Subaru only unlike many of the other tuners out there. Maybe I should send Trey an email? http://www.cobbtuning.com Of course we have STi, but that can be pricey.
GBY
I'm willing to bet they'll give us at least 280hp (crank) with their re-flash if and when they do one. Stock boost is 13.5 psi!
sti_owner
I've been looking into Vishnu for my STi, but then again he's local. :) Coob does great work as well and if they both were local my choice would be Cobb. I hope they support the new Legacy. hi to you!

dark_rex
i think it'll be at least 6 months till we see EMS/ECU solutions. the STi is still struggling for the UTEC! :( hopefully the platform will be close enough to the WRX or STi so it's not reinventing the wheel for the new legacy tuners. dR
Dr. Zevil
I know there will be a bunch of vendors that will carry aftermarket parts. The one's that are able to get some of the STi Genome stuff from Japan will be doing a lot of business. Garret at worldoneperformance.com is a great guy. He knows an opportunity when he smells it. I would suspect that parts will be readily available. Get ready to pay though, that stuff's gonna be pricey.

GBY
The currennt model Legacy sold 79,839 units in the last calendar year in the US. I don't know what they are projecting for the new model but I'm guessing around 100,000. That's 4 times more than the WRX! The demographic will be different though. They sold about 170,000 cars in the USDM last year across all lines. It would be pretty amazing for them if they could sell that many Legacies, however... IwannaSportSedan
They aren't selling a quarter of a million cars total, although that was/is a goal. Legacy is one of the smallest sellers. I think I figured about a month ago, that the 2005 numbers were in the neighborhood of 20-something thousand units of the Legacy, and more than 50 thousand outbacks.
