Tail pipes on 3.0R

those look awful, imo, but i guess i'm just spoiled by bigger dual exhaust tips on my LGT


I agree but for a different reason.


And why Subaru put an aluminum hood and tailgate on a vehicle to save weight - then added a second muffler and crossover pipe to create a pseudo dual exhaust - is mystifying....

the 3.0r started with the 2005 production year along with all the other new legacy models.


it's now a L.L. bean version

Wasn't there an earlier version? I remember an Outback sedan that looked really nice on the previous version. Maybe those weren't 3.0R's though.

Do the pipes curve down on the sedan like they do on the wagon? I would love to put tips on my 2.5i wagon. Just asking.


yes they curve down.


i cut some of the muffler tip off to insure no restrictions.
