I'm 110% satisfied with the quality and function of my system and it can be contributed not just to the amps, speakers and source, but to all of the components including the little ones like battery terminals, bass knobs (cost extra), wiring and the fact that I soldered every single connection in the entire process! I'm rewarded by the complete system, and others might want to experience similar characteristics in their systems and want to know th most complete way to achieve them. It was a PIA to list "everything", but hey this is what we love to do, right? Anyway, the other reason... I'm showing off my car at WBM Saturday and they wanted a mod list... Believe it or not, I'm 28 and I've never made a mod list! shhh. Don't make fun. I had kept an inventory of every mod to my WRX in a logbook, whcih came in VERY handy at the time of an accident! Yes, but not in my car... in my car, my brothers car and my buddy's! I'd say the length of positive power wire in my car is close to 20 ft and negative might be 5 to 10 ft. Buying those amp kit packages are OK... only if you don't mind where the amps end up! The kits usually have just barely enough power wire or not enough to get creative with your amp placement... plus some of the hardare pieces, etc. usually are cheesy! I do have extra JL goodies, like an extra set of battery terminals, speaker wire, and an extra master ground lug that I'll probably sell off eventually.... recoop a little money! seriously though, my stereo probably weighs close to 200lbs! most of it is right over the rear axle and helps make my car more balanced in terms of weight distribution... but I'm expecting a post/comment saying any weight is bad weight.... I used most of the negative wire for extra grounding in the engine bay and other various spots... so can I get away with the exaggeration, since I DID buy 110 ft!
