Hi all! Just an update on our mudflap production - we now have a Legacy GT sedan (white, 5mt) in the stable. This week we'll have the prototypes done for the car, with a shape that complements the LGT a little more than the WRX flap would (we expect to move the squared corner upwards to fit the line of the LGT a bit better).. For the sake of comparison, here's a shot of the flap on the WRX. They are proper urethane, with genuine Subaru attachment hardware. Again, this is a photo on the WRX, working on the LGT now: Another pic: (car is a bit dirty, I know... we experimented with shapes to find one that worked well but also looked good...) Price on these should stay at 90 bucks for a set, if the material costs stay the same. We'll post pics on the Legacy as they are completed. Watch our site for a Legacy-specific page; we're dropping the Mitsubishi to focus fully on Legacy development! I know it's an old topic thread but I have just fitted OEM mudflaps (you call them splash guards) to my new GT wagon. Being OEM they fit perfectly and line up exact with the factory placed holes. One thing to watch out for is when fitting the front units. It is supplied with a crappy plastic spring clip that has a long self tapping screw that goes into it. It mentions in the instruction sheet to use a certain torque screw setting. WTF for? Well I was to find out! Too much force to make it fit nice and snug into the metal and it broke the back off the back of the plastic clip and now the screw just spins continously whenever I try to either undo it or tighten it. It will never come out now unless I angle grind the head off the screw but unlike the rear installation, that one goes into a pre-threaded nut which is a far better system. I have sent my comments onto my local Subaru parts guys. Rob.

Hey All - New member here, although have not received my LGT yet but am extremely excited....especially after reading a lot of your posts to how great the car is :D . Anyways, I saw a picture of an LGT w/ matching color splash guards on it. There has been a long thread on this topic since last year... and was wondering what the deal is now because I really think it complements the car, especially with the rocker panel kit that comes stock. PLEASE let me know if there is a place to purchase these that will fit and look nice. I appreciate your help and look forward to being a part of this association! I will be purchasing a Satin White LGT. Joe
Hello all, I am considering putting mud flaps on my GT wagon. Any idea of a good manufacturer/brand?
Yes!!! These guys are great.....order the WRX flap...http://www.rallyarmor.com/.......I will post some pics....check them out and see if you like the look. They went on with very little modification. I just had to drill a few new holes (they are made for the WRX).......comes with nice stainless hardware.......

Does anyone have or know someone who has any pictures of their own subie with the color-matched splash guards from japanparts.com on their car? I really want to order the splash board set (not the aero set) but want to see what they look like in a real picture....not that crappy one on the website (http://www.japanparts.com/shop/shop.cgi?mode=itemlist&maker=Subaru&type_car=Legacy+BP%2fBL&type_second=Interior+and+Exterior&type_third=Aero+Parts%2fBody+Kits ) Thanks! How about these mudflaps: http://legacygt.com/forums/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&id=327 http://legacygt.com/forums/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&id=328 hehehe... These are the ones 'laz' is talking about. Supposedly you will be able to order these as an accessory from any dealership for MY06 once the accessory brochures come out. Oh nice pics! Thanks! Now I know how they look! Even though I have the White Satin Pearl color I think the contrast won't be that bad, plus the protection they will provide will be more than worth them!! Nice car BTW! X
I've got them on a red car. I like that the black (even on a non black car) hides itself very well. See some pics here: http://www.calvars.com/unilat/auto/menu.htm
