Lagacy GT
Do you guys get your oil changes every 7500 miles like the service manual says or do you get them every ~3000 miles like you are used to doing?
RuskiTrombone
The owner's manual says to change the oil at 7500 miles? My fiancees car is like that and takes 8 quarts of full synthetic oil.
Lagacy GT
the first two changes are at 3500 and 4000 mile intervals so.. at 3500 and 7500. then it's supposed to be 7500 from then on out.
gt_ltd
i have mine changed every ~3000 miles, including the very first one (unlike some people who did it at 1000 miles). This Space For Rent
RuskiTrombone
This thread will probably also be moved to the maintenance thread. Make sure you check there after it disappears.

pillboy
I am probably going to stay at every 3,000. Old dog. Fresh oil is cheap insurance for engine longevity (even when using synthetic). It also gets me under the car more to inspect other stuff...leaks, CV boots, etc. I haven't even looked yet to see what the severe service interval is on the turbo motor. Five miles to work in Minnesota automatically makes me severe service. It is still ugly.
vincedog3
I agree with pillboy, oil is still cheap, staying on top of the other stuff underneath is a great idea. I have never regretted keeping clean dino or syn in the motor. For your car audio/video needs:D Audio Crafters IS it. In Pasadena Ca.
