DukeTrout
http://driving.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,12529-1890873,00.html Here's a review of the Subaru Legacy Outback 3.0 wagon by Jeremy Clarkston of Top Gear. He likes the car, but we really need to get him into a 2.5 XT. I doubt he'd put it in the same league as the Bugatti Veyron, but he'd certainly give it even more credit than the 3.0 for the stealth factor Ich bin echt viel netter, wenn ich nuechtern bin. Echt! eVoMotion
Rock on! Interesting, sounds like the UK gets better suspension on the Outback... I actually do feel like I am in a boat in a hurricane with the XT...

godwhomismike
The Outback, though, is different. When you shut the door it makes exactly the same noise as a dead pheasant hitting the ground at 40mph, a sort of muffled, autumnal “bumph” sound. bwahahahahahahaha

I actually do feel like I am in a boat in a hurricane with the XT... sebbery: I used to feel the same way until I swapped out the tires to Pilot Sport A/S in the stock size. Of course they MIGHT last 25,000 miles and they do rub the inside of the wheel well when the wheel is full tilt! Seriously, now that I am nore used to the XT + the tire upgrade it handles as well as I can.
DukeTrout
Matching video, but reviewed by James May instead of Clarkston. Too sedate by far. We need to introduce these guys to the BT/XT! Garandman
...The Legacy, however, is far removed from all of this. The top of the range 3 litre version does 0-60 in a whisper-quiet but rather pedestrian 8.1sec and is all out of ideas at a near-silent 139mph. This then, is more a Subaru of the old school. Let’s not forget that when these funny cars with their flat-four engines and four-wheel drive started arriving in Britain they weren’t sold through plate-glass and rubber-plant dealerships. No, they were sold to country folk by agricultural supply centres. At least it trounced the V50 T5..... He also tested the Honda Accord Tourer, the wagon available in Europe also with AWD. http://driving.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,14133-1113561,00.html Who Dares Wins スバル
