jsalicru
You might want to follow this thread. In light of that thread, BOXRPWR, as well as others here, have not had any issues with this setup. Nevertheless, I figure that I would post that thread so that people get to hear for others regarding the RB setups. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=13053929#post13053929 "some say, his arms are made of coiled adamantium fibers. Xenonk
I also have my two versions on this thread as well as one that will be on-going to keep tabs of the 1-piece rotors that I have for long-term testing. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26037 http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28472 I've been following Javid's email convos with Racing Brake and I have my reviews to back up the reasoning and results behind it all. I was also there that day with him at VIR to discuss matters and so forth. After all said, it's very common that the pads are leaving deposits behind and from my understanding in confidence that it's the brake pads that are creating the pad deposits and it will happen more so with slotted rotors. I can understand where Javid is coming from that he's not the only one with track pad build up (as we did talk briefly at last month's VIR event about the brake issues). If you look at another Carbotech user here (which another NASIOC member that I know pretty well and is a track buddy of mine): http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=800437 http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=715113 It can explain a lot that it's not JUST a rotor issue (as Mav1c has Stoptech Rotors).. it's a brake pad-use issue if anything. Hope that makes sense. Keefe
PGT
yeah...just saw that too. It's one of the reasons I went with RB's recommendation for brake pads. It eliminates the finger pointing should I run across issues.
