gibsonsg
a set of wheels i really like are 18x8 and +42 offset. my car is lowered about an inch with K-sport coilovers. i don't want to have to roll the fenders too much. if anyone knows whether or not this will work, let me know. the whole offset thing confuses the hell out of me. thanks, mike
EL PAALO
driftmonkey is on coilovers as well with 18x8 +45 and 225/40 18 ......... needed rolls and more negative camber, iirc. you'd have 3mm less clearance to the fender than him.
Legasee
you might rub with 18x8.0 with +42 (I had the same set-up, but not lowered, and picturing the car going lower scared me lol, it was very close, by a few mm). You can remove the rubber strip on the wheel well and save a few mm's there , but if you're gonna roll the fenders, you might as well roll them to "the max" since you are putting in some 8.5"!!...the price is the same for an aggressive or "non-aggressive" roll, right? good luck and keep us posted! In Taiwan now...
wukindada
You are gonna need to roll;) Let's see the wheels! Toyota 6EATS .........SUCK!!!!!!
kurenai
as the others said, you'll need to roll the fenders. i'm on 18x8.0 +42 and swift springs stock struts as Legasee said, removing the weatherstripping helps you'll still rub a bit my car goes in to the body shop tomorrow we'll see how much the roll helps after that, it's up to coilovers and camber
