STi2LGT
Is it worth it to upgrade to the STi manifold? And if you do, do you use the STi throttle body or the Legacy's? My future plans may include an upgraded turbo, fuel system, and FMIC. Even if I don't do these upgrades, is there a benefit to having the manifold? I tried to search, but so many threads came up under STi manifold. I read through some of them and couldn't find what I was looking for. Any input is greatly appreciated Thanks Kevin. RobY
the benefit to a STi manifold is that it looks pretty. THe other benefit is that its in the correct position to let you run an STi TMIC and Turbo Style. If you are getting an FMIC the orientation dosent really matter so you can use the LGT manifold with no problems. Its inconclusive to as wether or not it makes more power or not as it does not seem to be a restriction on PDX's 390 WHP Legacy.
sleepin gt
the only real benefit in my mind is that you can run a 20G a sz49 or a gt30R (all upgraded turbos which will get you low to possibly mid 300 wheel hp on pump gas) with the STI top mount (or other upgraded one if it fits) legacy throttle body is fine im pretty sure

team23jordan
you also need STi TGV, STi TMIC and turbo for it to work you can't just change the manifold Perrin BIG maf intake Perrin Turbo Inlet HKS SSQV BOV Megan Racing header with UP (ceramic coated) HKS DP (WRX) DMH E-cutout Custom 3" catback UTEC
firedawgs
You can get away with not doing the STi TGV's, but it requires you to drill out the intake to match your LGT's TGV. Updated my vBGarage:
