jonnyg113
I love the way the black powder coated rims look... and for the money you can't beat it. Anyone tell me where I can get this done. I'm very interested.
b_h_87
hmm how do u think that black rim would look on a black car w/ red calipers?
jonnyg113
i think it would look tight. Thats exactly the setup i have. Black with red calipers, black windows with tinted taillight. It may be a little intense but look real nice. For a black car I think silver wheels w/ black detail paint would be the best.

Ed_T
How "tough" is the powdercoating? Will it stand up to tire shop abuse? Anyone know if the baking weakens the stockers?
mrejda
I'll be doing this in the near future as well - if anyone knows a good shop in the NJ/NY/Philly area, post up.
wukindada
Powdercoating is tough....much tougher than the Chrome "BLING" wheels going around town;) As far as the wheels being weaker...I'd have no idea...It should not affect them at all. Rommel
If the powder coating place knows what they are doing it won't weaken your stockers. The temp. that it used for powdercoating is not that high to weaken the material on the stockers.
robsontuning
I had a customers OZ P1 Powder coated Gold back before they were available in other colors. Looks great and now almost 4 years later they still look good. I plan on doing my own in Glossy Black
