jnd121
Does anyone else get a whistling type sound when starting up their LGT? I was figuring it has to do with the turbo, but I wanna make sure.

jnd121
Yes...it's only when it's cold. THANKS!
mechdiff
Yes I get that on cold days. When I turn it to the on position without cranking it over I can hear it, not sure what it is, perhaps the climate control fan? It's almost like a whoop whoop sound. melayout
Is it during the guage sweep and right before you actually turn the key to ignition? If that's so, then it's from the fuel pressure regulator under the hood. mwiener2
Mine does it too when it's cold sometimes. Only does it for like a sec right after it cranks and turns over. elbarto74
its the fuel pump regulator priming up, you can get it replaced if it annoys you but so far most people say there isn't anything really wrong. Though there is a TSB about it. It's just your Leggy being happy in the morning...whoop whoop whoop....
