VXCL Posted January 20, 2006 Share Posted January 20, 2006 I Think Acuras Run Like 5000k.......i Have 5000k And They Match About Perfect they run 4100k osrams like everyone else. on the older tl and cl they run d2r reflector systems (look very very purple) and newer tl, tsx, etc use d2s projector systems. all run 4100k setups. you need to realize the optics of the system play a huge part in whats going. its not color temp or coated bulbs like a lot of kits. you have to use higher kelvin kits becuase you dont have the correct xenon d2s optics. this is why it takes a 5000, 6000, 7000k, etc to try and mimic an oem xenon setup. this brings up another point. since kits are illegal there is no regulation. 5000k from one kit will most likely look different from another 5000k from another. peace MAYHEM #122/22 STS NNJR SCCA AUTOX4U.COM XENON RETRO GUIDE Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

[ATTACH]13842[/ATTACH] drove in snow with hid's in my wrx and was blinded so bad i had to turn them off and run the fogs only. how's the cut off with the projector beams? haven't had a chance to drive in snow yet.
