Precision Brakes big brake kit

Ted,

With my Hyundai at the time, I had plus two aftermarket wheels weighing in at 22 pounds each and some wider, heavier, grippier summer tires (both the tires and wheels were much heavier than stock). And there were plenty of times when I actually could not lock up the wheels if I wanted to with the stock brakes, even before brake fade was induced. And so obviously I wasn't satisfied with the OEM 10.1" brakes. So I upgraded to larger 11" OEM brakes from a Tiburon, and it wasn't until then that I could say that it was the tires and not the brakes holding back the braking performance.

By the way, I have read StopTech's articles. The brake bias is definitely a serious issue not to be overlooked.
