ilh Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I'd love to be able to log what is going on when my car is stalling in the morning. I was thinking that using the freeware ECUExplorer software might allow me to capture data that could be useful to the dealer. They don't have any data logging equipment they can loan me overnight to capture an early morning stall. I'd rather not buy my own Tactrix cable for $70 if someone in the Boston area would be willing to loan a cable for a day or two. --Lee
ReedZ Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I have an OBDII cable, but I'm a little too far away from you. I would suggest a CarChip, http://www.davisnet.com/drive/products/carchip_products.asp I keep one in my car at all times. Data can be downloaded onto your computer for review.
ReedZ Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Sorry, I just looked up the current price. This may not be the solution for you either.
