05_Snoozaru
Hey guys. Recently my CEL came on. Ran a code scan and came up with p1491. Checked PCV and whatnot and everything was fine. However, my PCV sensor (photo) has a wire that was severed, and some of the wire is stuck in the plug. I’m not entirely sure what the thing does, or how to go about removing the CEL. Can I purchase a new plug? Can I solder the copper wire in? Can I wire nut the two wires together and say forget the sensor? Any help would be great! rhino6303
That actually doesn't do anything. The male side is just a jumper pin. You can just connect the two wires together and all will be well.
