Qckslvr
Year, Make and Model: 2008 Subaru Legacy GT Limited Sedan Color: Quartz Silver Metallic Miles: 118,545 (and counting...) Transmission: 5 Speed Manual Title: Clear - no accidents Lien: No liens Location: Apex, NC VIN: 4S3BL676086205677 Seller's email address: mjbradley72@gmail.com Asking Price: $7,500 Background Information This car was leased from new by the parts manager at a Subaru dealership in Syracuse, NY. I bought it from the same dealer when he turned it in early; March of 2011. It saw two winters with the first owner; from 2011-2013, it was parked in the winter and driven in the summer in UNY. In the summer of 2013, the car got a catted CNT downpipe and SPT V2 exhaust to support a Cryotune Stage II open-source tune. It also got a set of Stack mechanical boost and oil pressure gauges and a Kartboy short-shifter with Cobb delrin knob and aftermarket leather shift and brake boots. In 2014, we moved to the Bay Area of CA, and the car went with us. Garage kept, no winters (obviously). In 2015, the car received Koni adjustable shocks, H&R sport springs, Whiteline tophats, Group N transmission and engine mounts (stock dogbone), as well as Whitelike bushings and offset balljoints throughout the suspension, including camber adjusting bushings on the rear. I actually ended up putting new knuckles and bearings on the front because i had some fasteners giving me a hard time so I replaced it all. The car was given a relatively aggressive street alignment, and Pilot Supersports, and that's what I used to commute to work from 2014-late 2018 all highway 680. Around 2014/2015, I replaced the stock steering wheel with a DAMD flat-bottom unit (super nice, will miss for sure). The car was also given a Gates timing belt set in2018, with pulleys, and I put a Grimmspeed weighted single piece crank pulley on because the stock unit was looking a little sus at the time. In November of 2019, we moved to NC, where I worked from home, and the car subsequently has gotten very little mileage. Driven weekly, but perhaps no more than 60 total miles/week on errands. In 2022 (or early 23? I have to check my records), I had the car aligned, brought the alignment back to a very mild trim from OEM, and shod the car with Continental tires as the Michelins were getting torn up with hot, rough, Raleigh area pavement. The car had plugs done on time, and the fluids were regularly changed, including brake fluid. I've run Rotella T6 in the car since ~60k miles (changed oil every 3500-4500 miles depending on time and use). Literally never had a mechanical issue with the car other than a split CV shaft boot (I replaced the whole shaft with a new unit and have a matching unit for the other side BNIB going with the car). I run Redline Shockproof/Motul in the trans and Redline MTL in the rear diff. Interior is in excellent shape, it was mostly just a single occupant 95% of the time, and I am pretty gentle on interiors. AC blows cold, has the upgraded OEM sound system with the subwoofer under the driver's seat. Issues: The radio display flickers occasionally. The outside trim shows its age. The sheetmetal heatshields around the stock exhaust manifolds are rusty. The bottoms of the door edges show signs of those first couple winters, but haven't progressed in the last ten years. There's a chip in the windshield. The front fascia certainly shows rock chips, as does a couple spots on the hood and roof between windshield and sunroof. The inside of the lug holes of the wheels needs a good cleaning (no rash on the wheels though). There's a creak from the right rear suspension occasionally (likely a bushing). The clear coat on the B-pillar trim has failed on both sides of the car. From 10 feet, the car is stunning, from right up close, some of the trim is looking its age, but it might be saveable with the right product, and they are certainly replaceable for a motivated owner. I did also have the airbag replaced (twice), so that should be safe now, and I installed a brand new OEM dashboard in 2020 because the original one got sticky. Overall, this is a well-loved, but never babied, two-owner car. It has never seen the track (except a tourism lap of Watkins Glen), never been abused, and always well maintained. To be honest, I love the car, but it doesn't fit the family anymore, and is taking up precious driveway space. Would love to see this go to an enthusiast before I post it on Marketplace and CL for any yahoo, which I will do if this doesn't sell shortly on here. I am going to change the oil, filter, air filter and clean/oil the K&N cabin filter before it goes. I also have the stock downpipe should someone want to remove the CNT unit. Feel free to shoot me questions. Edited July 31, 2023 by Qckslvr Adjusting Price

Qckslvr
Sorry, no matter how i upload that front end undercar photo, it comes in upside down. I even saved the damn image upside down on the PC and reuploaded it, and amazingly, it still uploaded in the same direction. I give up. Car has only surface rust on unprotected steel parts. Had to send two emails, for some reason the first didn't leave the inbox correctly, only the pictures and video went through. I just followed it up with answers to questions. m sprank
Car looks fairly clean from the pix. If I was serious, this car would be on the "to see" list.

Thank you, much appreciated. I actually love the car, but with three kiddos, it sits parked in favor of larger vehicles. No sense in it rotting away in the driveway. GEE-OTTO
Im with @m sprank I have this exact car with double the miles. Great condition overall! The only thing that might cause question is the heatshields look as though they are soaked in oil from a leak, is that water, oil, wet rust etc. ? m sprank
You can see water dripping off the oil filter. Its a fresh wash. Its a 4th gen LGT. Chances are it has leaked power steering fluid and the Fumoto can make a mess too sometimes. Standard Subie stuff.

Qckslvr
No leaks, car was just washed. I’ve only experienced a fuel leak from a cracked pump housing. Car hasn’t leaked anything else. Fumoto valve hasn’t wept either FWIW.
