Sonder Posted June 10, 2023 Share Posted June 10, 2023 Can this be removed from the outside or do I need to start to remove it from the inside of the trunk lid? Also is their a gasket for this that is replaceable? The reason I ask is I have a very small area that is rusting in the lower left hand corner of it. You can see it in the photo. DrD123 Posted June 11, 2023 Share Posted June 11, 2023 yup - you need to remove the trim on the inside of the trunk lid (few plastic pop-its) then that trim is held in place with two nuts (it has studs mounted to the trim) and three plastic pop-its (you can access them from the inside of the trunk lid and pinch them to release them - here's a pic of the trim piece itself from an exploded parts diagram 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
