  1. Alright, ole girl is going into the shop tomorrow in the am to get her hoof fixed.
  2. So, true I agree. I will be barely driving it until it gets fixed and I know I have already caused damage to my rotor and I will live with that. It will be local driving to work 7 miles one way. I do realize that the brakes on her left side are not parallel with the rotor and I again greatly appriciate your words or ernest intent. I will leave it up to my shop to tell me what I need to do. I appriciate your words and they are very true. I could not remove the pin and before I snapped it off in the vise I stopped lol. Yes that pin in mine will never loosing up on its own and the entire caliper assembly needs to be swaped out!
  3. Ok well to come to find its my left driver side caliper. One of the slides it seized. I did the right side and was able to get both slides out clean n lube them. Side note don't put too much lube on them because they will hydraulically work against you when you go to tighten every thing up again. Since I could not remove one of the slide pins on the left side and before snapping it off I left it alone. The pulse is gone in my braking but now my pads on the left side are not in full contact with the rotar. This has caused me to feel a sponge sensation when I brake. So now I will need to replace my left front rotar, bleed the brakes, and then she will be done. Saga continues Sonder
  4. Yes now she's developed a slight pulse. I'm gonna replace the front rotors n pads next weekend.
  5. So , this is odd when I put my car in reverse only does it do this. It does not stall and or really hesitate. After shifting and press the gas it acts like a reluctant toddler for like 1-2 seconds after I am going in reverse for the first few seconds intially. I never ever notice this going forward and it may have always been there I dont know. I just changed my differential fluids I dont know if after doing this will help, but I am praying its nothing mechanical. What do you guys think? It does not do this every time I back up either. I have not noticed if its on slopes or flat ground only "well not yet". lol
  6. Yea I could not believe it either. I'm in the market for another Sube. I love my legacy and I'm looking to trade her in with 173,000 fishing miles on her. I'm looking for something bigger n different. This sounds to good to be true lol. This is the same dealership i got my legacy from. Does anyone here know of any questions I should ask about the car or things to look for? This dealership has always treated me well. The outback was bought there in 2016. Heck the salesman sold it to the only owner it's had. I'm gonna see it on Saturday. Thank you again folks, Sonder.
  7. Thank you so much for posting this and I'm so glad this will be easy now lol WOW (jk)!
  8. lol So, it was there 10 minutes ago and I just wet out to start my Soob to see if I could hear it again and now I can't hear it..lol...
  9. Could this be a relay? I have never heard this until today! Sorry but I tried to clip the video to meet the szie requirement the sound it a ticking sound that begins at 21 seconds! Turn your volume way up! Untitled video - Made with Clipchamp (2).mp4
  10. Thank you so much! I greatly appriciate it friend.
  11. Can this be removed from the outside or do I need to start to remove it from the inside of the trunk lid? Also is their a gasket for this that is replaceable? The reason I ask is I have a very small area that is rusting in the lower left hand corner of it. You can see it in the photo.
  12. Yes, possible but no matter what they are top notch. I have seen them around but on one or two different vehicles. I'm glad you like them. Not 100 % sure but I believe they carry a vast array of attachment parts to other boxes n roof top cargo holders
  13. Go to the Seasucker website and look at the first video I attached of the guy going over 160 mph lol pretty nuts I know they carry alot of different things. I know also their customer service will answer all questions.
  14. Good point and I get your apprehension. The roof is rigid enough to hold the mount where I have it. I take water out of my hydration reservoir and we the surface area of the suction cups. This makes a perfect seal between the metal and the suction cup. There is a video out there of a guy in a high-end car testing a different model going over 180 mph. I believe in Utah and he has zero issues. The one suction cup on the rear tire moved with the metal and again I have never had an issue. I have driven from Ohio to Maine and all over the Great Lakes with zero issues. Now mind you the placement of this model is on the glass which is very rigid and then onto the roof. I would not want it only on the roof because the roof while structurally sound is not as rigid as glass. I continue to have no deformation of the metal on the happy Soob! Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H1sbJ4uefM and another: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLMefGg7bco
  15. Well, it’s been 4 years ago when I got my Soob. She does not have a luggage rack and I dealt with it. She does car camping really well. I was still missing out on my mountain bike exploits. I did not want to pull the trigger on any of the car top racks. That is when I found this little gem. https://www.seasucker.com/collections/best-selling-products/products/talon I have zero affiliation with this company. I have had zero issues with it and it remains bullet proof so far. I have had the bike atop my car for 4 hours at 75 mph several times and I have had zero issues. The tech is solid, and these are pneumatic. I wanted to pass this along incase anyone else was looking for some ideas! Be well, Sonder
  16. Well today I got her valve cover gaskets replaced. I also got her fuel injectors cleaned. Their is a very noticeable difference after having this done. Be well folks and she appears to be a very happy Soob.
  17. Get the code pulled off by someone who has a good reader. I do not trust the autoparts places to pull the codes off for me. I went to the dealer, but you need to choose what works best for you. Minus the traction control light on my Soob it was at first the number O2 sensor. As stated above how does she idle? How does it start? The check engine light being steady is better than flashing. This means to me IMHO its an emissions issue. Soob makes Christmas come on your dash to make it really annoying so that you get the issue(s) addressed. The funny thing is I have made posts with the exact title on here " Christmas Lights on my dash".
  18. Well I wish it was that simple. Yes, it has been a shock that she gets that gas mileage. Be well and good luck with your Soob adventure.
  19. So, she's running fine. I just traveled 3 hours all highway. Cruise control set at 75. She scoots along with zero issue. The mpg was 32.3. She's a happy Soob x3 lol
  20. Due to my back ground in optical tooling and laying out construction for 10,700 hp elec motors it's a curse at times that makes me hyper aware. Yes, your right it shocked me when the tech showed me the live feed his laptop was finding about the small misfires. Then it was amazing to me how he went on to describe how the car computer was making adjustments to compensate for it. Your right after the idle relearn last time is when I noticed it. When she got down below 800 rpm she was not happy. The tech said like you it all goes away when the gas pedal is pressed. The gas mileage was a little lower by 1 to 2 miles.
