voyetra8
Looking to get my snows thrown on this weekend. Anyone got any first-hand experience with a Boston shop?

Chappy
Ive had Sears do tires before in Saugus. They have a complete auto center. Best part was they let me watch while I waited. Didnt have to wonder what was going on with my car. It was during the summer so the bay doors where open. Also, it was a few years ago..Things change over time. Stay far away from Town Fair on RTE 1 saugus..They royally screwed up one of my BMW rims when they were patching a flat. Couldnt get the tire off so they crowbar'd it off and bent the wheel..I warned you..Stay Away!
Garandman
recognizing that "cheap" and "good" don't usually go together..... For plain ole repairs and stuff I go to South Boston Tire on B street, 617-269-9853. It's right over the Broadway bridge so it's easy to get to from the MA Pike or 93. Low-tech but friendly and reliable. They do a lot of trucks, but I've seen a few BMW's with BBS's or ATS's there as well. For "high-speed" stuff, most of the racers I know go to Direct Tire - http://www.directtire.com/. Who Dares Wins スバル
