bengt05
In my 2005 legacy gt I have a chech engine light for mass air flow sensor, sensor is clean. I also have a ground in my engine bay that is not attached to anything and wonder if they would be related, anyone know where the ground is for the maf? seanyb505
Attach the ground. Inspect the wiring for the maf sensor. Maf doesn't have a dedicated ground, but I know things get weird when grounds aren't connected. Which ground do you see not connected?
silverton
a failed sensor, whether clean or dirty, is still a failed sensor. do you have a photo of the unattached wire?
bengt05
I did find where the ground was supposed to be connected and re attached it, I also clean my Maf sensor and then disconnected the batter, so far my check engine light is gone but not sure if it will stay off
