ovr9000
Hi all, My dad is wanting to sell his 2005 Legacy GT Limited and neither of us have any idea how much it is really worth. It has a ton of work/mods done to it, and has mainly been his commuter for a ~140 km round trip on the highway from his house. He has owned it since new and it has around 225,000 km on it right now. Mods that I can remember off the top of my head:Engine Blouch 380XT Process West TMIC DW 740cc injectors DW 65c fuel pump Grimmspeed EBCS Cobb uppipe Cobb catted downpipe Cobb catback exhaust Cobb Accessport V2 Sunny's velocity stack intake modSuspension Bilstein shocks with STi Pink springs Infamous Performance front and rear roll bars with upgraded rear mounts Kartboy EndlinksTransmission & Brakes Competition Clutch Stage 2 kit Competition Clutch flywheel Endless SS-Y brakes I'm more than likely missing some things from the mod list, it has been a while. The car made ~290 whp and 330 wtq on Sunny's dyno, though I can't seem to find the sheet anywhere. The clutch was just replaced about 1000 km ago with the same CC stage 2 setup too. Mods started when the warranty was up at 100k, and I think it had around 150k on it when Sunny last tuned it. I don't have any pictures handy but the car is Garnet Red Pearl, the paint is probably a 6/10 from the rock chips from all the highway driving, the body maybe 8/10 (small dent from a shopping car in the rear driver fender, the CF grill is cracked), and the interior maybe a 6/10 or a 7/10? One of the dogs chewed the rear passenger door card. Has 18" summer rims and 17" winter rims with Hakka studded tires, and I think my dad has a pretty decent list of maintenance work done. The car runs and drives great, and it is a very fun car to drive - there is the barest amount of lag before the turbo is fully spooled up and it is all smiles after that. If I had to guess, I'd say asking price of around $6,000 CAD? But I honestly don't know with this used car market. If it was stock it I'm sure it would be worth more, and there's not a lot of local comparables to go off of, so I'd appreciate any help with figuring out what the car is worth. Haze
Sedan or wagon? There's been some silly prices paid for manual trans wagons lately and I could see someone paying $6k or maybe even a bit more. The modifications, not-especially-low mileage and cosmetic issues mean you're looking for a very specific buyer if you want top dollar though. JoeInOregon
Less than it should it be , but these cars only appeal to a shrinking group of buyers and the millage , mods , and color narrow it even further .

It's a sedan, so that makes it even less appealing unfortunately. My dad isn't in any hurry to sell, but I think you guys are quite correct that there is not much of a market for the car. I just sold my 03 LGT sedan for $3500 CAD, it is kinda sad to think that his car would realistically not get much more than that. Somebody out there is gonna get a great car for cheap haha
Haze
He may get the best return by taking the time to de-mod it. Used Subie speed parts seem to be expensive in Canada (I'm also in the Edmonton area).
