Front bumper cover will not stay attached?

I don’t like how the front bumper cover kept popping loose near the turn signal lamp. So I purchased new mounting hardware but it just doesn’t stay connected. I am hoping someone has solved this small but pain in my ass cosmetic issue.

I'm having the same issues. I think it's that one clip that's part of the fender. Well I assumed that was the issue.

Ugggh I have the same problem on my driver side just a little. I have to push on it a little with my knee to put it in place.

Mine used to do that too.  My fix?  New bumper cover.  However, I say that knowing the large oval shaped hole was warped.  Popping it out and giving it some heat and putting it back should help it.

I also had the bumper cover replaced because mine had a crack in it from PO that was repaired badly.  And it was in the body shop for a bunch of other things anyway.

I will try the heat it method first. The idea of buying a whole new bumper cover and having it painted to match is an expense I’m not willing to accept. I already painted the entire car once. I should’ve replaced the bumper cover at that point, but I didn’t realize it was going to do this. 
I will give it a shot and report back here how it goes.
