Gas Treatment / Fuel System Cleaner

Do either of these items work?  Do the help save gas, get more mileage per tank?  Are they safe?  

ANY input/suggestion/knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated.  

I have had my 2015 Subaru Legacy for just over a year.  Knock on wood ... it has been running great.  I thought maybe these additives might help.  THX!

I can’t remember who recommended it, someone on the forum here, but Berryman’s B12 is the fuel system cleaner I use. I dump in half a can before filling up, probably once every 3k miles or so on both my cars. Use a bit of it to start my John Deere every spring too.

Whether it actually helps I can’t make any claims, but I get pretty damn good MPG in both my cars and my LGT fuel trims are usually in fine shape.

Oohhh  Thank you.  If I get some MPG benefit - great.  It's a cheap try.  And as long as I don't 'hurt/harm' anything, I'm happy.

Yes, I also use Berryman B12 after reading about it from someone on here many years ago. Walmart has it for under $4.00 a can. Used to be around $2.50.

Good ol B12.  Been using it since I was in high school.  Even my grandfather used it.  LOL. 

 

You can use it to clean engine sludge too.
