Legucygt Posted September 27, 2022 Share Posted September 27, 2022 Every once in awhile when I drive my car I can smell smoke and see it and it's coming from the driver's side front tire area I'm not really sure what it could be? Could it be my Boots are torn? Valve cover gaskets leaking.? It doesn't happen all the time just every once in awhile. silverton Posted September 27, 2022 Share Posted September 27, 2022 there's so many things it could be. head gaskets, valve covers, cam seals, the rear cam cap; these can all end up leaking on to the exhaust manifold. the left side axle doesn't generally get grease on hot stuff. Legucygt Posted September 27, 2022 Author Share Posted September 27, 2022 Yeah I've researched in a little bit well when I have my shocks and struts replaced next week I'll have them take a peek and see if they can pinpoint where the leaks coming from hopefully it's not coming from my heads cuz so far I'm not losing any coolant or it's not changing color as of yet and my oil even though it smells like oil when it burns I'm not losing a tremendous amount just a smidgen if that, up to this point Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
