Single Catback Exhaust for LGT

I'm hoping to ditch the factory catback for 3in single.

 

08+ WRX wagon aftermarket catback can be fitted on LGT, but requires fabrication.

Other Legacy generations will fit with fabrication but they are not 3in. I have 2015+ catback that I will attempt to fit hopefully soon.

I also read claims that, "2008-2017 WRX/STI exhausts are all the same as long as you use the cans that came with the mid. Flanges changed between 2014 and 2015."

 

To my knowledge the only single catback for BL (05-09 Lagacy Sedan) available in the US is Zerosports World League Catback ~$1100.

I highly doubt if there is anything that fits USDM wagon out-of-the-box, due to fatter rear bumper than JDM wagon.

I've seen some obscure single catbacks on Yahoo Japan claiming to fit the wagon.

I think I recall seeing something about it a while back. Have you checked the exhaust forum here ?

Yes and yes, thorough google search and went down many rabbit holes leading to various forums.

 

I found 1 person who was selling 08+ wrx exhaust that was fitted on LGT years ago.

There maybe a reason most of us stick with two mufflers...it looks cleaner.
