2021 Touring XT aftermarket exhaust sounds / tuning

Recommended Posts

There is basically only axle backs available, either muffled or muffler delete. Lachute Performance and Nameless. No tune needed and there is also no tune available for these cars.

Here is mine with the Lachute Performance axle back. Don't think it's worth the money, the CVT makes it sound not so great, except at idle and full throttle. More videos on my channel.

Has anyone installed aftermarket exhausts? Could you share a video of how it sounds? Also, what type of tuning did you have to do after installing?

Yajorze, did you upgrade?

I recently installed a Nameless muffler delete axleback for around $400 on my 21 Limited XT. Literally a 10 minute install. A little droney on the freeway at less than 2100 rpm, but it sounds killer in manual paddle mode around town or above 85 on the e-way. I didn't see many options other than Nameless. Did you stumble on other options?

I'm considering the JB4 for a piggyback after reaching out to COBB TUNING... they straight up said the JB4 is about the only tune option for us 21 XT runners.

I'll post video of the exhaust soon. I'm considering the Nameless catback mid-section to complete the exhaust. No tuning needed for the exhaust swap.

I also have the Nameless axleback delete. I’m used to having much louder cars. My Crosstrek was straight piped save for a magnaflow resonator.
however I had a nameless 5” axleback on my Crosstrek and it was way louder than my Leggy is now with the axleback delete.

thinking about the midpipe too. Anyone else experience it on a CVT? My leggy usually holds less than 2k rpm at all times so I don’t think it’d be too bad?
