4BKT VET
Anyone have recent experience with JDM Ebay sellers for these parts? Is there a difference between Legacy Bilstein's and "Spec B" Bilsteins? Looking to lower my 08 Outback and weiging the option between new KYB vs used Bilsteins.

BTW: My 66 bug motor did something similar. I have the rod someplace around here (twisted 180° AND bent about 90°) along with a couple of holes in the case. Unless you buy new oem Bilsteins, you're just guessing as to how long the struts will last before blowing.
4BKT VET
Thank you rhino6303. The wording was a bit confusing. I would have made the KYB choice had nobody responded. For now, I'm raising the rear cradle only and doing the 03 rear shocks, 07 front struts with GT Wagon springs all around.
4BKT VET
I would post a pic, but I get a file fail. I did some reading, can't seem to get it. Bummer.
