neeksimons
Anyone know if sparco terra wheels in 16x7 with 40mm offset will clear the orange Sti brembo's?
JMack
I don't think that 16s will clear ANY Brembo calipers or rotors. The LGT factory brakes wont clear on 16s...
neeksimons
someone on reddit has 16x7 wheels and they cleared his, I was hoping mine would as well
JMack
On an LGT, and OBXT, or a 2.5i? The LGT has very large rotors and calipers on the front.
Max Capacity
I'll bet if you installed longer wheel studs and spacers you could get them to fit. I'm sure that won't be much money... LOL plus the benefit of giving you more forces on the wheel bearings, not those are known to be a issue on these cars... As said, LGT's came with 17" wheels to clear the bigger calipers. 2.5i's came with 16" wheels and smaller brakes. You may find so info from the "sticky's" here, https://legacygt.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/wheels-tires-43.html Edited February 22, 2022 by Max Capacity 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. seanyb505
Are there any rally STis running 16s?
Pleides
Anyone know if sparco terra wheels in 16x7 with 40mm offset will clear the orange Sti brembo's? If you set a car as your own in TireRack.com to be something like a 2005 STI you can test fit any wheels you want and the only options shown to you will be wheels that are compatible with Brembos. BoozeRS05
2004 STi has the 5x100 bolt pattern, best to use that on tirerack for wheel fit on an LGT. neeksimons
He's using rallyspec wheels which are designed to clear bbk's. I'm very tempted to order a pair of front wheels and front brembos to start
