mbshop Posted November 2, 2021 Share Posted November 2, 2021 I have a 2001 outbck sw. its like new as I bought it new and planned to have it as my last car. This last weekend someone broke the rear hatch glass and rifled around and got little. But the issue is that the glass is not available. Not from junk yards nor from the dealer. So I'm looking for one. Not sure how to get it to calif but will worry about that if one is found. I just cant believe this situation. Thanks for looking if you can. doublechaz Posted November 3, 2021 Share Posted November 3, 2021 (edited) My local yard doesn't show body style, but they claim to have a 2001 outback locally in green, and a white, purple, and green one a couple hours away. No info on how picked over or damaged they are. But I'll help if I can. The same thing happened to me years ago. I spent almost a year searching. Shower curtains get broken into a lot more often than glass... edit: Do you have a budget in mind? I guess we'll work through PM if there is anything useful to talk about.
