brianbobrow1
I have a 1992 Subaru Legacy wagon ej22 . When I bought the car I was told it had a brand new motor that would start up and run but the transmission was slipping . So I gave the $200 . Come to find out there was no filter in the transmission. Got one and installed it. But I jumped my timing so I replaced all the belts. Now it won’t start so I replaced the coil over, the plug wires, spark plugs but still nothing. I’m was getting plenty of gas to the plugs and I was getting spark so I replaced my fuel pressure relay, the fuel injectors, but still nothing. boxkita
well you have discovered how to replace parts, keep going? unless you are using junkyard parts, i would hazard the guess that the engine didn't actually run. and you're trying to fix something broken? doublechaz
You said you jumped timing. If you didn't take the timing belt off and put it back in correct time no amount of parts changing will make it run.
