Got this off the Outback Forum, thought it might be useful to some. I did a quick check and find the front brake pads are the same for a 3.6R Legacy and Outback 3.6R on Advance auto parts site.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
