Jags
Hello all, recently did a Engine swap in my 09 legacy. decided to take it out on the road drove for about an hour to two hours perfectly smoothly when all of a sudden it just revved and slowly slowed down. drove for about 1 to 2 minutes before pulling off the road was driving at about 30 MPH, popped the hood and there was ATF all over the place looked at the oil cooler line and it had cords showing out of the hose. What are the chances of a blown transmission from this happening? going to be repairing the hose tom in a parking lot, my Christmas is going to be fun... dgoodhue
You will need to add ATF fluid, but you will probably be alright. On another car, the 2-4 servo's ring wasn't seat right and it popped out. I pumped out a bunch of transmission fluid, the transmission slipped badly as limped it to the next exit. I had it flat bedded home, reinstalled the servo added fluid and the transmission was fine. Good luck
