Body panel help for 1999 Legacy Outback

Sorry, I couldn't find a specific forum for my model, so I thought I would try here, as it most closely matches.

Ive been searching this for weeks, and can't find any information

I have a 1999 legacy outback. I love my car, but recently started to really like the look of the 2000 model. They look super similar, to me, and I'd love to swap the panels, headlights, everything to get the look.

Does anyone know if the panels fit? The only thing I can think of now is finding one and asking if the owner will let me measure bolt holes and stuff, if noone knows

I seem to recall the 00' model had many improvements over the pervious Gen. I'm sure its a different body.

I had a 98 GT wagon, a friend at work bought a 00 GT wagon and told me about it. I seem to recall reading the 00 had 160 improvements and the base price was only $150 more.

On the way to work day in March 00 I stopped by my local dealership for a test drive. The Gt wagon they gave me was on the side of the parking lot on a grassy dirt knoll. I started the car, back it up and turned to get it lined up to drive forward onto the pavement. When the car got on pavement I said, "WOW what a difference". I had only driven the car may be 50FT. I ordered a 00GT wagon. My 98 GT wagon had about 33,000 miles on it.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
