maxxbenzz90
My rear brakes have been squealing for ever. After a million trysts to fix it the dealer finally put these rotors on. The part where the pad touches the rotor ( outside) is raised higher than the ( inside ) groove of the rotor. I have never seen rotors like these in my life? I was too pissed to ask them what they were but squealing is finally gone.[emoji106] Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Marvick08GT
I think he is referring to the exposed vanes by the hub. I have seen some manufacturers that are like that. I will look for a pic. Edited October 13, 2020 by Marvick08GT
08SpecB_DE
Sub'd for pics. I've seen old, worn out rotors have quite a lip on the outer edge but not a new or freshly cut rotor.

Max Capacity
posting history suggests it'll be awhile LOL. FWIW, my picture I think was caused by the pads getting hung up on the spring clips. I learned some things different spring clips sizing and how they fit on pads. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
