evams
I was thinking of Airbrushing like 2.5 GT or Legacy 2.5 GT onto the intercooler. Like the STI has on its intercooler. Got a couple people i know who can do it in Wisconsin. Still debating.
agctr
Why NOT, I think it would look fantastic, and you can only really see it when you pull the bonnet up so I think, go for it. Make sure they use the right colour if you go for the STi Logo.
Th3Franz
Make sure it's the right type of paint, since the intercooler does get fairly hot. So are you in Wisconsin? -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz

GranTourer
Wouldn't coating an intercooler that irradiates heat, with paint which acts as an insulator, keep heat in and not allow it to dissipate through air contact? :? Maybe using the thinnest coat possible and leaving a lot of surface area unpainted would negate any possible performance loss? I wonder if the SWRT use a special heat conductive paint? I would personally spiff up that dull looking black plastic engine cover.

evams
Ya....I'm not sure about the paint. I will have to ask my people over in Wisconsin about what kind of pain they would recommend. As far as the engine bay cover..I took that shit off...lol...damn thing gets extremly HOT...good idea though...but now if they make one that is Carbon Fiber...ah that baby is goin on!!!
