Dim Reverse Lights

Hi everyone,

I own a 2001 Subaru Legacy-Outback sedan. Recently my reverse have been going between being out and lighting up, but, very dimly.

 

I changed the bulbs and checked all the fuses and everything is in order there.

 

Does anyone have an idea as to what the cause might be and how to go about fixing it?

 

Any advice or wiring diagrams would be much appreciated.

Seems like a problem with the reverse light switch to me. Could be a wiring issue too though.
