I have a 1998 Subaru Legacy sedan. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to remove the reverse lights. There does not seem to be room to remove the bulbs through the trunk. Does the light cover come off of the outside to replace them? Any help someone can offer would be MUCH appreciated!!

Hi everyone, I own a 2001 Subaru Legacy-Outback sedan. Recently my reverse have been going between being out and lighting up, but, very dimly. I changed the bulbs and checked all the fuses and everything is in order there. Does anyone have an idea as to what the cause might be and how to go about fixing it? Any advice or wiring diagrams would be much appreciated.
