Tehnation
Does something attach to these ends? I can't seem to find any ventilation piping anywhere. Should I be looking for something or is that it? I don't see anything on any parts diagram either. Seems like a bad design to have the ducts under the seats and go no further, but then again I don't sit in the back seat so who knows... Notorious
Nothing attaches there. Those are the rear AC vents for the back passengers since Subaru decided a cupholder was more important instead of putting the AC vents on the center console like everyone else. Not even good cupholders at that
Tehnation
lol , I was just looking at the cupholders and thinking the same exact thing. It just flops open and doesn't close properly. Thanks for the response, now I can put in the seats!
jaylew
I use those cup holders a lot! The one's in the front make water bottles in the way of shifting or resting my arm. I believe there is some EDM or JDM center console that does have rear vents but that requires new ducting from the dash Wagon is LIFE! - 265,000 miles and climbing Unofficial Build (Restoration) Thread Steering Rack Rebuild
