We have a base model 2009 Impreza. 2.5 L automatic When we go to start in the last few months, with the shifter in P, often there is no response. If I then take the shift lever and give it a shove in the front, left direction, I usually get instant results. So some contact is worn or corroded? Has anyone experienced this? Can you point me in the right direction of where to possibly work? It is my wife's car and she is not as tolerant of it as I might be, so I would rather fix it than work around it.
