2010 Legacy wiring diagram

Recommended Posts

Anybody out there know where I can get a wiring diagram for a 2010-2014 Legeacy or Outback? Any mechanics with access to factory wiring diagrams?

I'm looking for the wiring for the parking brake module in particular.

The module has 12 wires coming off of it.

Long story short, I want to put the parking brake in a 1968 Camaro and hide the switch. Kind of another level of security.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

The stock system uses the ebrake for the hill holder as well, I would bet most of that wiring doesn't go to the brake system in particular. I am not sure if what you are wanting is even a good idea to be honest, a parking brake isn't going to stop a car thief and a rear drive car will easily over power a parking brake to the point of failure. You would be much better off using a some kind of hidden electrical disconnect.

This will be one of three things a thief will have to get around to steal it. I’m perfectly aware if a thief wants the car he’s gonna get a tow truck and drag it away. I’m really just trying to accomplish an electric e brake without buying a kit for $400 plus dollars.

Thanks for the reminder about the hill assist. Forgot about that. I’m just waiting for my daughter to bring our 2010 Legacy home so I can put the meter on the connector to see what’s what but a wiring diagram would help a lot.

Instead of worrying about the switch I would go straight to the module and see what signals its receiving. That's what matters.

I was gonna check both places. At the switch and at the module.
