It definitely is best bang for the buck I'm sure in regards to sound and style (i.e. diff tips) I find it hard to swallow the price on some of these mufflers available... and I congratulate you on your motivation to innovate.

lol i thought this turned into pipe dream, glad to see your back with more info!, i am def down for this...

No just got tangled in everyday stuff and was worrying about costs. So it looks like I pretty much have the first set of 5 sold before I even make them :) I am going to see what size batches they need to make them in. And welding costs etc.. Until I started doing this I didn't realize how time consuming it is to mass produce a simple pipe :)

That was the whole reason I started. There is no reason for axle back mufflers to be 6-900$. It just kind of ticked me off :)

AS long as its big enough to not look odd..... And not to big to look odd...... Get what I'm saying. LOL I don't want it looking like a pea shooter but Too big and it gets ricey.

I know exactly what you are saying. I believe it would be about 3" opening or a little larger but nothing like a can exhaust. I hate those with a passion. I am trying to get something to look like a stock part, albeit a bit bigger.

  • 3 weeks later...
Ok well here is a BS update. At this point. I am stuck as far as what to do. I will need to front the money for about 5 or so plus a 350$ one time tooling fee etc. I am unsure as how to proceed now. I am going to send them a copy for them to tell me final pricing on the raw pipes. But if it ends up costing me 1k$ up...
