Ryanjoe01
Hey I have a 2007 outback xt . I recently jdm swapped with a ej20 the car runs fine except I’ve been having a issue where it cranks for like 10 seconds then starts but it starts everytime no matter the temperature. I am worried it it degrading the life of my starter. However I found a 6 pin connector grey and purple and I suspect this is the culprit. It should plug in near the throttle body or intake right underneath the intercooler . I will post a picture if anyone can help me find out what this is called. Nonamedude
I think you're looking at the secondary air pump connector. Idk if that's on the jdm engines, possibly not as it's an emissions control and you'd just get no start at all if that was the problem. Does it look like this one?
