ssitumba Posted January 7, 2020 Share Posted January 7, 2020 Hi, I recently replaced my transmission for my 2008 Subaru Legacy 5EAT. Unfortunately, the AT oil temp light comes on at high speed. The replacement transmission had a broken wire that my mechanic had to connect the broken wire and masked it with a tape. The diagnostic report gave an error code P0740. Could the broken wire be the reason why my transmission is overheating and causing error code P0740. I will really appreciate your assistance. Thank you in advance.
