Hi, I recently replaced my transmission for my 2008 Subaru Legacy 5EAT. Unfortunately, the AT oil temp light comes on at high speed. The replacement transmission had a broken wire that my mechanic had to connect the broken wire and masked it with a tape. The diagnostic report gave an error code P0740. Could the broken wire be the reason why my transmission is overheating and causing error code P0740. I will really appreciate your assistance. Thank you in advance.

Hi guys i have a 2008 Subaru Legacy GT 5AT. My previous transmission malfunctioned giving me error codes P0741 and P1706. I decided to replace my transmission but error P0741 is still coming. Secondly, after a long day of driving especially at high the ATF Oil Temp light starts flashing. What could be the problem? Kindly help Regards, Situmba

Hi guys, I have a 2008 legacy with paddle shifters on my steering and intelligence shift knob. I recently serviced it and unfortunately it has lost power and I am getting a deep sound as I accelerate. What could be the problem?. Has anyone ever experienced this?. Please help.
