06SubLegTx
Hello, A few days ago I heard my ac blower motor making just a little noise. Today the blower motor would not do anything on any setting. I can hear the ac compressor click on/off when I main press the switch, but NO moving air on any setting. My car have the all in one unit. (Radio & AC/Climate Control Panel all in one) The car has 151k on it Any help would be appreciated.
apexi
It sounds like you should be okay to remove the blower motor from the car, hook it up to a 12v power source, and see if it works. If it does work that way, I think the resistor located near the blower motor is probably bad. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/subaru,2006,legacy,2.5l+h4,1432742,heat+&+air+conditioning,blower+motor+control+module+/+resistor,6557 Hearing noise makes me think it might be the blower motor itself that died. 06SubLegTx
Thanks for the info. That is what I thought too. With 151k, and this car was originally from Maryland (winter car) it's probably worn out.
